LED Lighting

Some overlooked “icing on the cake” features I feel most people miss are great audio and/or lights.  Great sound or lighting can turn something cool into something over the top.  Give it that “commercial” feel.

I want to discuss some options you can use to bring dynamic life to your man cave projects.  LED lights are small lights typically organized in a flexible “rope”.  They can be a solid color or RGB (multi-color).  You do not need some kind of small specialized board and be armed with a masters in Linux to get awesome results (although Linux is powerful and awesome).  You can buy the all necessary components directly from our store.  Our lighting kits contain all the components below.

Components for RGB LED lighting.

Yea.  For power.  These may already have the adapter end ready to plug into the light controller.  Some might have a simple red/black positive/negative wire you screw into the controller.

Controller and Remote

The controller is simply a small computer board that tells the lights to do what you punch into the remote.  Go red, blue, flash, flash faster, flash slower, fade colors, flash different colors based on music sound, etc.  You simply point the remote at the controller and control the lights

The lights typically come in a roll or on a bar.  They can be waterproof or not.  They are cut-able and link-able.  They have double sided tape so you can stick them where ever you need lighting.  Simply connect them to the controller by either a provided adapter or by tying in the wires.
Once you have all the components simply connect them up, hit power, select a pre-canned setting on the remote, and be amazed.
